By booking an appointment with Cosy Pups Grooming you agree to the following:
Appointment Policies
Cancellations
Cancellations or rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a cancellation fee of $40 per appointment or per dog..
No-shows will also charged this $40 fee.
Late Arrivals
Arriving more than 15 minutes late may incur a $15 late fee and this may apply per additional 15 minutes.
Arriving late may also reduce the groom time or require rescheduling. Fees apply.
Pick-Up Policy
Dogs must be collected promptly (within 1 hour) of collection alert. Dogs not collected within this 1 hour window may incur a half daycare/holding fee of $30 per dog.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change based on coat condition, size, temperament and grooming requirements.
An exact quote may not be possible until the groomer assesses the dog at drop-off.
Parasites
If fleas or ticks are found a compulsory flea/tick treatment fee will apply.
Severe infestations may require termination of the grooming session for safety and hygiene reasons.
Skin, Coat & Grooming Outcomes
We are not responsible for pre-existing skin conditions, injuries or irritations discovered during grooming.
Photography & Media
With your consent we may take photos or videos of your dog for marketing or social media purposes.
Liability
While we take every reasonable precaution, grooming may involve the use of sharp tools and equipment.
Minor nicks, stress-related reactions or irritation may occur.
You agree that we are not liable for injuries, illnesses or complications resulting from:
Pre-existing health conditions
Undisclosed behavioural issues
Matted or neglected coats
Fleas, ticks or parasites
You accept responsibility for any damages your dog causes to property, equipment or staff.
Payment
Payment is due at the end of each appointment and unpaid invoices will result in future bookings being declined.
Health & Safety
All dogs must be up to date with core vaccinations, we do also accept titre testing.
Dogs showing signs of contagious illness (e.g., kennel cough, parasites, skin infections) may be refused service.
You must inform us of any medical conditions, behavioural issues, allergies or sensitivities prior to the grooming service.
For the safety of groomers and other pets, any dog displaying aggressive behaviour may require a muzzle and/or may be refused service.
A handling fee may apply.
In the event of an emergency we reserve the right to seek veterinary care for your dog at your expense.
Coat Condition & Matting
If your dog’s coat is matted, we may need to perform a shave-down for the dog’s comfort and welfare (in compliance with the Animal Care and Protection Act 2001 (Qld)).
Additional fees apply for severely matted coats due to extra time, equipment wear and safety considerations.
We are not responsible for temporary irritation, clipper rash, hair thinning or skin sensitivity that can occur following the removal of matting.
Behaviour & Handling
Dogs that are difficult to handle, anxious or aggressive may require extra time and incur an additional handling fee.
If a dog becomes too stressed or unsafe to continue, we may stop the grooming session for the wellbeing of the dog.
Full or partial fees may still apply.
